The BBA girls netted 18 points, two better than the Wasps, paced by top-five finishes by Katie Bourque (second) and Sanderson Kemp (fourth). Olivia Maeder took sixth and Emily Cowles ninth.
Ben Alexopoulos and Andrew Sherras went one-two, respectively for the BBA boys, whose 16-point total was four ahead of Woodstock. Tom Morgantini (fourth) and Scott Trudel (ninth) rounded out the scoring.
Bulldogs blast Cosmos
SPRINGFIELD -- Nine players scored for the Burr and Burton Academy boys basketball team in a convincing 74-44 win against Springfield on Thursday night.
Jake Stalcup recorded a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds, Joey Shehadi fired in a team-high 14 points and David Shehadi chipped in with eight for the Bulldogs, who improve to 14-2 on the season with their sixth straight win.
BBA led 39-22 at halftime and travels to face Windsor on Monday.
Eagles edge Devils in OT
ARLINGTON -- Arlington Memorial High School got hot in overtime, outscoring Poultney 21-11 to pull away for a 66-56 win in boys basketball on Thursday night.
DJ Jennings paced the Eagles (8-6) with 19 points while Olden Dwyer tallied 14 and Troy Sweet 12. Dwyer scored nine points in overtime, going 7-of-7 from the free throw line.

Arlington led 30-23 at halftime before Poultney turned the tables with a 16-2 third quarter. Sean Shepardson led the Blue Devils (8-7) with 30 points.
