HARTFORD -- Burr and Burton Academy sophomore Daisy Sullivan scored the game-winning goal 10 minutes into the second half as the Bulldogs squeezed past Hartford, 3-2.

BBA (4-3-1) started quickly as senior Cara Corvino tallied in the first minute, putting the Hurricanes in an early hole.

But Hartford scored the next two goals, forcing BBA to make a comeback. In the second half, Sullivan found Emma Hallett 6:39 in to tie the game at 2-2, then scored herself at the 51st minute to take the lead.

Sam Sullivan and Joanna Jorgensen shared duties in goal for the Bulldogs, who host Rutland at 5:30 p.m. Friday in the first game of the Homecoming doubleheader at Applejack Field.
