This French drama ("Le fils de l'autre") deals with the complex repercussions facing both of these two young men and their respective families as they discover that they are not who they thought they were.
One reviewer called this film "a fascinating coming of age movie concerning identity, religion, politics, and allegiance to one's country, and how to deal with an impossible situation with no simple solution." Another (from the Austin Chronicle) wrote that "the actors are excellent, the storytelling compassionate, and the overall sense one takes from the film is more humane than political."
The 2013-2014 season ends with this fascinating human drama. Admission is open to the general public by free-will donation. Movie theater refreshments will be served. For more information, contact Rosalie Fox at 802-867-0199.
