MANCHESTER - Plans have been made to celebrate Holy Week at the First Baptist Church beginning on Palm Sunday when congregants will meet at Grant Park on Route 11-30 at 10:15 a.m. and walk with palms to the First Baptist Church to celebrate the beginning of Holy Week.

On Thurs., March 28, at 5:30 p. m. the community is invited to participate in a Maundy Thursday pot luck supper followed by a communion service. Call Martha Thompson 362-3473 for information.

Friday, March 29, is Good Friday and the service of remembance begins at 3:30 p.m.

This is preceded by the tolling of the bell to remind those in attendance of the The Passion.

The church will be open at that time for prayer and meditation.

On Saturday morning, March 30, at 9 a.m.

The Mary Martha Fellowship meets to create the bouquets for the Easter Cross, which following the Easter service is displayed at the front of the church for the community to enjoy.

On Easter morning a breakfast is served following the Interfaith Council Easter Sunrise Service . Reservations are necessary.

Call the church at 802-362-1555. The Easter worship service is held at 10:30 a.m. with special music led by music director, Jeffrey Linebeck., the decorating of the Easter cross and the Easter message by Rev. Dr. Steve Jewett.
