MANCHESTER - To meet the accelerated Roundabout schedule before the end of the current construction season, there will be a road closure on Main Street (Rt. 7A) and Depot Street (Rtes.11/30) beginning at 2 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8. The closure will be in effect for 12 hours; reopening is set for 2 p.m. on Thursday afternoon.

The closure is required to meet the paving requirements outlined in the contract and to ensure the best quality. With the imminent approach of colder weather, the top coat must be applied before prolonged freezing conditions arrive and the plants are closed for the season.

Cars traveling north on Route 7A will be routed over Wyman Lane and Cottage Street to Depot/Rtes. 11/30. There will be no access to Depot Street from its intersection with Cottage Street to the Junction. Flaggers and sheriffs will be on hand to direct drivers. Trucks, buses and vehicles pulling trailers should use Union Street to travel north via Richville Road and Center Hill.
