I want to thank the Manchester Rescue Squad, Fire Department, and the Shaftsbury State troopers for saving my life. There wasn't much life left in me when after an extensive search they found my broken body in a ravine in zero weather in the black of night.
My rescue conditions were dangerous for them yet they didn't give up - I was in critical condition, not expected to make it - and would not still be here if not for them and my family and friends.
During these three and a half months I was overwhelmed by the love of my friends and my students who all became like a huge family cheering me on. I realize this could only happen in a small town. Thank you dear husband. At last I am home and learning to walk again and will be my old self again. Thank you all for saving my physical and emotional life.
P.S. Thank you Garlic John's and Mother Myrick's for your generosity and delicious food.
