To the Editor:

I have taken both Amtrak trains to Vermont many times. It would make more sense to just reroute the Ethan Allen from Albany through Bennington, Manchester with the final stop in Rutland. Extending this route north of Rutland may not be necessary as the Vermonter already provides daily service as far as Burlington and St. Albans. Train service should provide an economic boost to the southwestern Vermont area, not only during the Fall but throughout the year.
