To the Editor:

It is never too soon to begin discussions that result in lower taxes, and the promotion of qualified candidates. You, the Taxpayers of Danby, elected Bill Gormley, two years ago, to serve as a member of the "new" five person Select Board. He was appointed Road Commissioner. During his time in this position, Bill has attended all of the various learning seminars and training sessions dealing with road maintenance, safety and waste disposal provided by the County and State. His devotion and work ethic is responsible for improvements that have already taken place, and if re-elected, Bill plans to continue to attend training sessions that will increase his knowledge and improve the skills needed to get the job done.

The new compactors that have been installed are a direct result of Bill's efforst to improve and lower the cost of anby's Waste Removal. Those of you who have visited the "dump site" expressed approval of the physical changes. In addition Danby taxpayers will welcome thousands of dollars in savings resulting from the use of the Compactors.

Please consider voting for Bill Gormley to continue to serve as a member of the Select Board when you vote on March 4. Your vote is important and enables you to chose the candidate that will best represent you. Bill's voting record and actions attest to the fact that Bill works for you, welcomes your in-put, and acts on it!
