To the Editor:

On behalf of the Greater Northshire Access Television (GNAT-TV) Board of Directors I want to thank the voters in the towns of Dorset, Londonderry, Manchester, Sunderland and Weston for your overwhelming support of GNAT-TV's funding requests to help support and defray costs related to our government access video coverage. I would also like to thank the select boards and school boards for cooperation in providing this service to its citizens, all those who signed our petitions, volunteers who endured brutal temperatures to gain petition signatures and those who spoke on behalf of GNAT-TV's value at your town meeting. Approval of the appropriations is clear citizenry support for unfettered access to government and open media in our communities. One of the primary functions of GNAT-TV is to keep the residents of our eleven towns connected. The voter approved funding support will help GNAT-TV to provide ongoing video coverage of government meetings, facilitate civic engagement and improve participation in community activities. GNAT-TV broadcasts on Comcast cable channels 15, 16, 17, & 8, via peg.tv Channel on the RokuTM streaming player and on our website: www.gnat-tv.org.

In closing, I would like to invite YOU to become involved GNAT-TV, your community access media center. Anyone living or working in our service territory is eligible to participate in GNAT-TV's programs including: bulletin board postings, video press releases, media production training, producing television programs, utilizing studio facilities and portable audio/video equipment.
