To the Editor:

The Pawlet Fire Department would like to thank all the local and out of town businesses that donated to the auction this year and to the people from town who donated without which there would be no auction.

We would also like to thank the people who came despite the rainy weather, making the auction a success once again. Also a big thank you to the firemen who put in many hours getting ready for this event each year, the auctioneers, Chris Mars and Glenn Merrill and their helpers, Paul Woodruff and Linda Gould. Let us not forget the workers in the food booth who helped keep every one's belly happy. Hope to see everyone again next year.
