MANCHESTER — Harned-Fowler VFW Post 6471 of Manchester celebrating 62 years of service this month conducted elections of Post officers for the year 2008-2009 at their April meeting. The officers are Commander William Weeks, Senior Vice Cdr. Dave Girard, Junior Vice Cdr. Mike DiMonda, Quartermaster Ken Bergeron, Chaplain William Leach, Judge Advocate John Balch, Surgeon Bill Jones, Trustee Jim Johnson, Trustee Steve Leach, Adjutant Steve Leach. The officers will be installed at the May 8 monthly meeting and will take office at the close of the Vermont State VFW convention to be held in Burlington on June 15.
