Meub to speak on purity of world water supplies

RUTLAND — The Friends of the Rutland Free Library annual meeting will be held on Monday, May 14 at 7 p.m. in the Fox Room of the Rutland Free Library. The featured speaker will be Rutland resident, Carolyn Crowley Meub. Meub is the Executive Director of Pure Water for the World, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing pure drinking water to those living in rural third world communities. A short business meeting to elect new Board Members and officers will begin the evening. This event is free and impaired accessible. Light refreshments will be served.
