MANCHESTER — The Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS) Manchester office has moved across Union Street to a new space in the Equinox Resort administrative building. VINS-Manchester staff is offering a variety of spring environmental education programs for the community, including: Saturday, May 10, 10 to 11 a.m.: "Lily, Jack and Solomon" (spring wildflowers of the Equinox Preserve); Saturday, May 24, 8 to 9:30 p.m.: Equinox Preserve Night Hike; Saturday, June 14, 10 to 11 a.m.: "Avian Adventures" (forest birds of the Preserve).
All programs are open to the general public and pre-registration is required.
Additionally, VINS-Manchester is delighted to again offer nine weeks of VINS Nature Camp for children in Manchester and surrounding communities, including expanded preschool programs and two overnight options for older campers.
