SALEM, N.Y. — Gardenworks will host a Mother's Day Celebration on Saturday, May 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. Free coffee and a farm fresh cider donut will be offered to all moms.

A gardening workshop where participants will create a colorful container garden or hanging basket will meet from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Meg Southerland will share tips for combining colors and plants for season long success. Pre-registration is required and cost is based upon the materials chosen.

Directions: From the traffic light on Route 22 in the Village of Salem, drive west on Route 30 (also West Broadway). Gardenworks is five miles from the traffic light.
