MANCHESTER — Join Paul Myers for the presentation "Energy Efficient Living" at the Mark Skinner Library on Saturday, May 10 at 4 p.m.
Myers will share information gleaned from his extensive research and experience with energy-efficient design. He will illustrate his talk with slides of his home in Peru where sun and wind provide electricity and local hardwood burned in a Russian-type fire-stove provides the comfort. Essential site conditions, design elements, the electrical system, construction costs, and design requirements will be discussed.
The presentation is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. Mark Skinner Library is located at the intersection of Rt. 7A and West Rd. in Manchester Village. For more information, contact the library at 362-2607.
