PAWLET — The Pawlet Public Library will show the movie "Away from Her," Tuesday, May 13 at 7:30 p.m. The film will be shown with closed captions and is free.

After a 40 year long, happy marriage a husband is forced to put his wife into a nursing home.  When he sees her again following a 30 day settling in period, she not only doesn't recognize him but has a boyfriend among the patients. Feelings of guilt, relief and love conflict within the husband as he faces one of the most important decisions of their marriage. 

"Away from Her" was made in 2006, is rated PG-13 and is 110 minutes long. Popcorn and punch are also available gratis. As the folding chairs can become uncomfortable feel free to bring a cushion to the performance. Come early to socialize with the community.
