Woods Tea Co. to perform benefit

EAST DORSET — Wood's Tea Company will give a performance at the East Dorset Congregational Church May 10 at 7 p.m. Tickets will be pre-sold for $10 or $12 at the door. The show will be approximately two hours with an intermission. Doors to the church will open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased from any of the members of the church or call Betty Goff at 362-0756.

The Wood's Tea Company is one of Vermont's well-known musical groups. They will perform Celtic tunes, bluegrass, American folk songs and sea shanties. They tour nationwide, and have performed in such notable places as New York's Lincoln Center, the Chautauqua Institute, and on PBS. Wood's Tea Company was honored by the Irish Heritage with their "Outstanding Innovation Award."

Proceeds of the concert will go towards maintenance of the church.
