"Beef it Up with Mobile Video" is a hands-on, interactive workshop that will help the public understand both the power of smart phone marketing and the ease of doing it themselves.
Online videos currently capture 90 percent of all internet traffic.
Mobile videos have been proven to be the most effective form of learning by next generation (ngen) workers. According to recent statistics, an average 1-minute video equals 180,000 words.
The public can boost their development and communication skills and efforts by producing cost-effective, resonant video content on their smart phones by coming to the GNAT-TV studio and participating while the seminar is broadcast from Burlington.
The event takes place on Nov. 14, from 12-2 p.m. at GNAT-TV Studio in Sunderland (6378 Route 7A). The event is free of charge for participants at the GNAT-TV location.
Those planning to attend should bring their own lunch. Coffee, tea and water will be provided. Common Good Vermont offers its Media Maven strategic communications series to nonprofits throughout the year. This new live web-streaming option is being made available thanks to the generous support of the A.D. Henderson Foundation.
