The Arlington American Legion, Post #69 will be holding a breakfast at the Legion on Sunday, Nov. 10, beginnng at 10 a.m. The meal will be free for people age 55 and above. Donations are welcome. Monday, Nov. 11 - Veterans Day

MANCHESTER - The Manchester Veterans of Foreign Wars will be holding a Veterans Day observance and buffet Monday, Nov. 11, starting at noon. The buffet lunch will start after the ceremony outside the post. There is no charge, and the public is welcome. The post is located at 208 Depot Street. For more information, call 362-9840.

MANCHESTER - GNAT-TV is partnering with Common Good Vermont to bring live web streams of their Media Maven Webinar Series to local audiences. The event takes place from 12-2 p.m. at GNAT-TV Studio in Sunderland (6378 Route 7A). The event is free of charge for participants at the GNAT-TV location. DORSET - Green Mountain Academy for Lifelong Learning is offering The Art of Cooking Italian Food on Thursday, Nov. 14 as part of its popular Culinary Series. The class will take place from 5:45 to 9 p.m. at the Jones residence in Dorset. A seated dinner with wine will follow the cooking instruction. The cost to attend is $75 per person.
