ARLINGTON - On Saturday, July 28 around 11:15 a.m. Ann Beck was traveling west on Vermont Route 313, according to the State Police, when she drifted of the north side of the road. Beck went into a ditch and then came out and went up a hill on the front lawn of Christine Meyer.The vehicle struck Meyer's stone wall and deck at the top of the hill.

The wall and deck were damaged as was Beck's vehicle. Beck was unsure why the accident occurred.

Beck was transported to SVMC by Arlington Rescue. Beck was admitted to SVMC with possible back and internal injuries. The Arlington Fire Department responded also and assisted at the scene.

The reason for Beck going of the road is unknown at this time.
