DORSET - A burglary has been reported at a residence on the Dorset West Road.The burglary occurred sometime between Thursday, June 21 at 4 p.m. and Monday, June 25.

The secondary home was locked and unoccupied at the time the residence was entered by the suspect.

The front door to the residence received some damage.It is not known if anything was taken from inside the residence, according to the police.

An apparent second burglary on Dorset West Road was reported on Monday morning, June 26. According to the state police, the owner of the burgled residence, Peter Kelly, was not home at the time of the burglary.The person or persons gained entry by smashing a window out of the front door. It has not been determined what or if anything is missing from the residence. It was determined that the residence was broken into between 3 p.m. on June 25 and 7:30 a.m. on June 26.
