LANDGROVE - The Right Reverend Stuart Wood, the retired Episcopal Bishop of Michigan, will preach at the Landgrove Community Church on Sunday, Aug. 19, the next to last Sunday of the Community Church's summer services.

Bishop Wood, a frequent visitor to Landgrove over the last decade, is a graduate of Dartmouth College and received his initial divinity degree at the Virginia Seminary.

He and his wife presently live in Queechee after a lifetime of service as the rector and minister to various parishes in Ohio, Indiana and Michigan. Bishop Wood, a passionate and articulate humanitarian, is noted for his superb and evocative sermons.

All are welcome at the lovely small church on the knoll in Landgrove at 73 Landgrove Road next to the town hall.
