The first will be on Thursday, July 19, on the patio at SVMC at 100 Hospital Drive in Bennington and the second will be on Thursday, July 26, at the Village Ambulance location at 30 Water Street in Williamstown, Mass.
At each grilling session participants will learn how to grill an entire healthy meal.
The July 19 class will be led by SVMC Chef Laura LaCroix, known for her easy-to-fix but tasty recipes. On July 26, SVMC Chef Chris Dargie will bring a different tasty menu to the Williamstown class.
Participants will learn about creating marinades from on-hand ingredients and how to tell when food on the grill is properly cooked. Plus, the group will explore many food options for grilling beyond the hamburger and hot dog, including savory appetizers and sweet desserts.
Register early, because these classes fill quickly. Register at svhealthcare.org or call (802) 447-5076 for more details. There is a $10 fee for each person for each class, to help cover the costs of food.
