To the Editor:
While Phi Scott is a good man, he is not the man Vermont needs in the governor's office for the next two years. Listening and sitting firmly on the fence is not the way to deal with swollen budgets, drug addiction and lack of good employment options that are among the top problems facing the next governor.
Bruce Lisman grew up in South Burlington and left the state to successfully make his fortune. After retirement he returned to Vermont and actively addressed the state's difficulties. He has been listening attentively to Vermonters from all walks of life and has developed solutions to their concerns which he can put into effect immediately on taking office. As the former leader of 2,500 employees he has the talent and experience to make the state's several departments both more responsive and more efficient. Vote for Bruce on August 9th to turn Vermont in a new direction.
