To the Editor:

Manchester area residents recently travelled the world from the beautiful environs of the Equinox Village during a three-part armchair travel series. Presented by Manchester Community Library and sponsored by Equinox Village, the series took us to Grand Canyon National Park and the Havasupai Indian Reservation to explore the turquoise waterfalls of the region; on to some of the world's most spectacular and remote wilderness frontiers on Alaska's Alsek and Tatshenshini Rivers; and finally to the many places that touched Vincent Van Gogh's life- from his birth town in The Netherlands to the cities where he studied to be an art dealer, to the Belgian mining district and on to Paris and the South of France.

It is always a pleasure for the Library to partner with Equinox Village. Not only is it a premier retirement community but also a vital member of the Manchester community, committed to supporting quality programming. In addition, the kind and capable staff at Equinox Village, in particular Heather Aldrich and Kylee Ryan, is a privilege to work with. We thank Equinox Village for sponsoring this exciting, informative, and fun armchair travel series, and look forward to future partnerships.
