On behalf of Maple Street School, we would like to thank the many local companies and businesses who helped make this year's Scarecrow Festival such a fun and festive success. Over 200 children attended our craft fair/open house on October 27 and we made a record $3,500, proceeds of which will support the school's Scholarship Fund, which provides financial assistance to 35 percent of Maple Street School's student body.
Many thanks to Bee's Hallmark Store, Burr and Burton Academy's Digital Media program and Community Service program, Brown Enterprises, Herend Shops, Alexandra Langstaff and Hullabaloo, Lily of the Valley Nursery, Mad Tom's Orchards, Manchester Health Services / Thrift Store, The Orvis Company, Oughton Ltd., Price Chopper Inc., Shaws Supermarket, Zion Pre-school and all of the businesses who let us put scarecrows on their properties.
Maple Street School is deeply appreciative of their support and is proud and grateful to be a part of the Northshire community.
On behalf of the Maple Street School Parent Association,
Liz Ruffa and Liza Young
