The Knights of Columbus Council 6816 of Manchester extends deepest gratitude to the residents of the Manchester community: To the many visitors to our area, the generous support of the parishioners of St. Paul's and St. Margaret Mary's Catholic Churches and the many Knights who stepped forward and volunteered their time and effort to make our annual Tootsie Roll campaign a successful one.
The Knights who contributed were Frank Sutton (Grand Knight), Hugh Galvin (past Grand Knight), Charles Pufahl (Treasurer) Val Loreiro, Ted Lenezowski, Hugh Main, Dick Schlieder, Joe Gioleto and Hal Crane all fro the benefit of the local Special Olympics and the Vermont achievement Center of Rutland.
Our thanks also to several businesses who permitted us to the collections, namely, Scott Dickie of Shaw's Supermarket and the staff at Discount Beverage Center. On behalf of our local charities, the athletes of the Special Olympics and citizens with Learning Disabilities the money donations given are fully appreciated by all concerned. Thank you Manchester.
