To the Editor:

I am pleased to support Charles (Tim) Goodwin for state representative for the Towns of Jamaica, Londonderry, Stratton, Winhall and Weston.

I have know Tim since moving to South Londonderry in 2003. I have served with Tim on the Windham Regional Commission, on which Tim is one of the longest serving commissioners. Tim has also served as a school board member, a lister and is an accountant.

As such, Tim has acquired extensive knowledge and understanding of the education finance and property tax system in Vermont.

Tim is well respected and has received the endorsements of legislators across party lines. I am confident that Tim will continue in the tradition of Rick Hube and Oliver Olsen in seeking bi-partisan solutions to the pressing issues facing Vermont.

We need Tim's knowledge and understanding in the Vermont House to help find solutions to Vermont's most pressing problems. I look forward to casting my vote for Tim in November.
