BENNINGTON - On Tuesday, Nov. 13, Southwestern Vermont Health Care's (SVHC) Wellness Connection will be holding the seminar "Simple Swaps for Healthy Holiday Meals" with SVHC Executive Chef Laura LaCroix at SVHC in the Employee Cafeteria on the ground floor. From 5:30 to 7 p.m., LaCroix will share some holiday menu items that don't have to break the calorie bank.

It is not essential to sacrifice taste or texture to eat healthier and LaCroix will teach participants how to alter their holiday favorites to satisfy both health and taste requirements.

Those interested may register at svhealthcare.org/events or call 447-5076 for more information. Preregistration is required and there is a $10 fee for the class to help cover the cost of food. Early registration is encouraged as spaces fill up quickly.
