DORSET - A Massachussets woman was airlifted to Dartmouth Hospital in New Hampshire on Sunday following a collison with another motorist.

Becky S. Dix, 44, of Clarksburg, Mass. was riding her 1992 Yamaha motorcycle south on Route 30 in Dorset when she collided with a 2010 Honda Fit operated by Pamela Tremper-Debona, 71, of Dorset.

According to the police report, the Vermont State Police responded to the scene at 2:06 and an investigation revealed that Tremper-Debona - who was traveling north - was attempting to make a left hand turn into a residential driveway and failed to yield the right of way to Dix. Dix struck the front of Tremper-Debona's vehicle, causing her to go off the road. As a result of the crash Dix sustained serioius injuries to her extremities. Tremper-Debona did not report any injuries.

Further investigation is pending, according to the report.
