Inspired by the classic American film, "It's A Wonderful Life, A Live Radio Play" is performed as a 1940s live radio broadcast in front of a studio audience.
The production will use five male actors, three female actors and four children to play the multiple character roles. Children should be in the 8-11 year-old age range. Adults can be a variety of ages.
This new holiday classic will start rehearsal in October and run December 6, 7, 8, 13,14 & 15. The Sunday performances will be matinees. Angie Merwin, who has previously directed "Spiders Web," "Crimes of the Heart" and "Judevine," will be directing the show.
No special preparation is necessary but the roles will require some singing and multiple character voices for each actor. If you have any questions, contact Sheila Conway, business manager (867-5570) or Angie Merwin (362-3021).
