MANCHESTER - The Southern Vermont Arts Center Board of Trustees has selected Seline H. Skoug to serve as interim executive director and the leader of an initiative to re-energize the mission and focus of the 80-year-old institution.

She will assume day-to-day management responsibilities while conducting a thorough assessment of the organization in an effort to ready the Arts Center for a permanent executive director.

"The Southern Vermont Arts Center has been one of the region's most valuable treasures for 80 years and it's critical that we build on that legacy," said trustee Robert McCafferty. "Our planning will insure that we include the aspirations of our artists and members in our vision for the center. Seline has the right blend
