Somerville will take the stage in the Arkell Pavilion to perform some of his biggest hits including "Little Darlin,'" "Why do Fools Fall in Love?" and "The Stroll" among others.
The Chiffons for their part will perform such perennial favorites as "He's So Fine and "Sweet Talking Guy."
This special performance is part of a fun-filled day of the arts at SVAC.
From 2-4 p.m. in Yester House, there will be a reception for the opening of the 56th Annual Fall Open exhibit. At 4 p.m., join exhibition curator Ruth Greene-McNally for a gallery tour of the exhibition,
Both the opening reception and the curator's talk are free and open to the public.
"Weatherbound: The Art of Jay Hall Connaway" will be on view through Oct. 21 at the Elizabeth de C. Wilson Museum at the Southern Vermont Arts Center.
