Jed Tullett was educated at Oxford and London University. In the late 1980s he joined his close friends, the actors Susan George and Simon MacCorkindale, at their film production company Amy International at Shepperton Studios outside London and began a career in film making - writing, re-writing and in production. His first work re-writing came on "Stealing Heaven" (1988), and "That Summer of White Roses" (1989) where he also had a production assistant credit. During the 1990s he was commissioned to write feature films on a wide range of subjects from: the 1919 Paris Peace Conference, apartheid in Africa, Virginia Woolf, The Crusades, Napoleon, and "The Circle of the White Rose" (with Ben Kingsley). He has also written/re-written extensively for television both in the USA and Britain on various subjects including - The Moors Murderers (BBC), Edgar Cayce (Channel 4), Custer and Crazy Horse (History Channel), Charles and Diana (ABC), The Bay of Pigs, and the true story of an Irish priest's relationship with an American divorcee (CBS).
