Artfull Wednesdays: Storytelling through the Arts! for ages 7-12, will take place on Wednesdays July 3 to July 31 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Beacon Feed Studio.
Scheduled topics include "Picture this!" (Visual arts)July 17; "Dance Your Story" (Movement arts)July 24; "Once upon a Story" (Theater arts), July 31. The final performance/exhibition is Sunday, Aug. 11 from 11 a.m - 1 p.m. The cost of attendance is $55/$50 for members/$12 for single class drop-in.
Bonnie J. Ross is an undergraduate journalism student at SUNY Adirondack with a passion for the arts. Bonnie has designed and taught summer music workshops at both Hubbard Hall and the Greenwich Free Library since 2010. Bonnie played the violin and cello for 5 years in the Green Mountain Youth Orchestra. In addition, she is an aspiring photographer and a freelance arts journalist (published in the Post Star, Bennington Banner, Greenwich Journal and Salem Press).
Hubbard Hall Center for the Arts, located in a renovated 1878 rural opera house and adjacent former freight yard complex, is a community arts center dedicated to bringing the best of the arts to the region with year-round theater, music and dance performances and classes and workshops for all ages and skill levels.
