MANCHESTER - Green Mountain Academy for Lifelong Learning, in partnership with Burr and Burton Academy and Northshire Performing Arts, presents "People" from the National Theatre in London.

This high-definition broadcast performance will show on Saturday, March 30, at 7 p.m. in the Riley Center for the Arts at Burr and Burton Academy.

Britain's most celebrated comic playwright, Alan Bennett (The History Boys, Habit of Art), debuts his hilarious new play at the National Theatre.

Nicholas Hytner (The History Boys, Habit of Art, One Man, Two Guvnors) directs a cast including Tony and Olivier Award-winner Frances de la Tour (The History Boys, Habit of Art).

This show is part of the Saturday Series, which brings great performances from around the world every other Saturday evening to Manchester. A wide variety of genres are represented: theatre, film, opera, ballet, and dance.

All performances are presented on a large screen using the latest high-definition technology.

Tickets are $18 for adults, $12 for senior citizens, and $9 for students. They can be purchased online by visiting bbatickets.com.
