The theme for this year's Gala is "Evening Under the Stars" and the third annual Burr and Burton Academy Online Auction, as part of the festivities, will go live on April 1 and run through April 30.
This year's auction will feature many services and unique items. For example, four hours of window washing services. Grandparents can bid on a vintage pedal car in pristine condition that is currently on display in the Perfect Piece consignment store in Manchester. "The Perfect Children's Party Package" - which includes a child-size picnic table built by BBA students, a visit to the party by three miniature horses (and their owner) and two gallons of Wilcox Ice cream - is another item in the auction. Additionally there are two front porch rocking chairs, maple syrup, a learn to fly lesson, a lube, oil and filter change, and two prom packages and more.
The online auction is open to everyone in the greater Manchester and Mountains community and all local residents are encouraged to take a look onlineat www.benefitevents.com.
Those who bid on items will get notifications if someone has outbid them on an item so they can keep track of items they want. Bidding begins April 1. All proceeds raised from the online auction will go to support the Annual Giving Campaign and help Burr and Burton Academy continue to provide the best possible educational experiences for students.
