RANDOLPH - Vermont Technical College is recognizing 364 students who have achieved two of the College's highest honors. 316 students were named to the dean's list and 48 students were named to the President's List for the fall semester.

Locally, Robert Rindell from Arlington achieved dean's list honors.

"To see so many students achieving this level of academic success is a testament to both their hard work and the excellent faculty who teach them," said Philip W. Petty, Dean of Academic Affairs.

At the end of each term, degree students carrying 12 or more letter-graded credit hours who achieve a 3. 5 GPA are named to the dean's list, while students who achieve a 4.0 are named to the president's list.

Vermont Technical College is the only public institution of higher learning in Vermont whose mission is applied education.

One of the five Vermont State Colleges, Vermont Tech serves students from throughout Vermont, New England, and beyond at its two residential campuses in Williston and Randolph Center, regional campuses in Brattleboro and Bennington and at six other nursing campuses located throughout the state.
