Community Classroom is a school year-long program which seeks to inform and engage neighbors in thinking about how we should be teaching the next generation. These free events will involve the community in discussions about educational methods and fresh approaches to thinking and teaching.
Long Trail will kick off the series with a forum titled "Vermont Made -- and World Class," which will utilize a panel of local business owners and educational leaders to discuss how we can best prepare our students for success in a global society.
Parents, teachers, and stakeholders in the area are invited to weigh in on a crucial discussion about local children's future. This forum will initiate public dialogue about how we can achieve this.
Long Trail School's Hunter Center on Wednesday, Nov. 14 from 7-8:30 p.m. will be the location for this critical conversation. Refreshments and a Q & A session will be part of the evening. Announcements about other Community Classroom presentations at Long Trail will be forthcoming.
