On Sunday, Dec. 1, area producers will be at the Dorset Farmers' Market offering fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs and meats, breads and pastries, artisan cheeses and wine and even some pre-packaged snack foods.

The Dorset Farmers' Market will be held indoors at the JK Adams Kitchen Store on Route 30 in Dorset from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. EBT, debit and credit cards are accepted.

Barbara Parry will be at the Northshire Bookstore on Sunday, Dec. 1 at 2 p.m, to present her new book, "Adventures in Yarn Farming," a knitting book that focuses on the sheep-to-shawl process by a well-known knitter, shepherd, and artisanal yarn producer. The Rupert Kittay Public Library will be hosting the "No Strings" Marionette Company again this year.
