The truck was originally purchased by Town in 2002 with 37,200 miles. It has been professionally maintained and housed in heated fire station in 2002. Truck being sold "as is" and without any warranties. The truck has a new intake manifold and 4 barrel carburetor, original 3.5 L V8 engine and full canvas top.
Bids must be in a sealed envelope marked "101 LAND ROVER BID" and include the following information: bid amount, name, address, cell phone and telephone numbers and signature of bidder and without any additional conditions. Bids are due on Monday, April 1, at noon, via mail delivery or hand delivered to: Office of the Town Manager, 6039 Main Street, Manchester Center, VT 05255, when bids will be opened publicly. The minimum acceptable bid is $10,000. Full payment by highest successful bidder is due on or before Wednesday, April 3, at noon. The town reserves the right to reject any/or all bids in the best interest of the Town. Cash, bank, cashier's and certified check are acceptable forms of payment.
