MANCHESTER >> This week the Manchester Market welcomes back Blueberry Buckle, a family of musicians that have been a market favorite for years.

In the Art Farm tent, kids will be making their own butter from scratch, which they can take home with them. Art Farm is a free activity for kids, focused on local food.

This week's harvest is melons.

Melon Rainbow Popsicles

Simple Syrup:

cup water

cup sugar


1 ½ cup watermelon, cubed

2 Tbsp lime juice

1 ¼ cup honeydew, cubed

2 Tbsp lemon juice

1 ½ cup cantaloupe, cubed

2 Tbsp grapefruit juice

Stir sugar into boiling water and whisk until dissolved. Remove and chill until cold.

Add watermelon, lime juice and 1-2 tablespoons simple syrup to the blender and blend until smooth. Fill 6 popsicle molds of the way full. Pop into the freezer for 40 minutes.

Rinse out blender and add honeydew, 1-2 tablespoons simple syrup, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth. Add to molds to freeze until mostly solid.

Rinse out blender once more and blend cantaloupe, grapefruit juice, and 1-2 tablespoons simple syrup. Add to molds, insert popsicle sticks and freeze completely.
