BENNINGTON >> Southern Vermont College is pleased to announce the appointment of Nina G. Moser as vice president for college advancement.
In her new position, Moser will provide leadership in all of the college's advancement efforts, including campaign planning, major and planned giving, annual giving, external and alumni relations, communications and marketing.
Moser comes to SVC from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy, N.Y., where she has worked since 2009, most recently as Senior Advancement Officer of Principal Gifts. "Nina has a wide range of experience in various facets of development, including a record of strong success in building donor and community relations, leadership giving, strategic planning, and trustee development," noted David Rees Evans, President of SVC. "She has a deep understanding and passion for SVC's mission and is the right person to help us invest in a more robust and systematic advancement operation."
In her other roles at RPI, Moser served as Philanthropy Officer for Principal Gifts and Advancement Officer. From 2006 to 2009, Moser was a Major Gifts Officer at Albright College in Reading, PA. Before that, she worked at Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA, her alma mater, as Associate Director of Annual Giving, Director of President's Circle Giving and Assistant Director of Annual Giving.
Moser has relocated to Bennington from Saratoga Springs, N.Y., with her husband, Erick, and son, Luke. "SVC is a special place with a strong mission. I am excited to partner with President Evans and the Cabinet to impact the SVC student experience," Moser said. "And I very much look forward to becoming part of the Bennington community."
Moser received a bachelor's degree in Business and Economics with minors in Environmental Science and Psychology from Ursinus College.
