WINHALL >> Enrollment applications for Pre-K – Grade 8, for The Mountain School at Winhall, are now being accepted for the 2016-17 school year. Parents residing in Winhall, Stratton, and all surrounding towns are invited to apply for Pre-K, which is a 5 days a week, full day, program, offering a rich and diverse academic readiness and group play program, as well as special subjects such as Fitness, Music, and Art. Act 166 funds will apply toward Pre-K tuition, no matter what town families reside in.

The Mountain School at Winhall is a Pre-K – Grade 8, Independent Town Academy serving children from tuition paying sending towns, Winhall, Stratton (gr. K-8), Dover, and Wadesboro (gr. 7-8), as well as children of all grades, who live in the surrounding towns, for private pay tuition. MSW does its best to offer tuition assistance to interested and qualified families. The school is located in the hills of Winhall, off Route 30, near the access road to Stratton Mountain Ski area. MSW believes in educating the whole child and works to develop students of fine character, as well as strong academic scholars. Its academic programs are challenging and rigorous, but class sizes are small and teachers are able to individualize instruction and offer students a high level of caring and support.
