MANCHESTER - Every year the Manchester Music Festival (MMF) offers area children the opportunity to study violin, viola, cello or piano for just $25. Beginners or continuing students ages 6-14 are welcome. This unique program has been part of the Manchester Music Festival since 1985.

During the week of July 7-11, parents can choose between two 50-minute sessions every day at 9 a.m. or 10 a.m. Lessons are taught by the Festival's talented Young Artists and take place at the First Congregational Church (FCC) and MMF's Festival House on Dillingham Avenue in Manchester Village. The week concludes with a recital on Friday, July 11, at 11 a.m. at the FCC. Participants receive free passes to the Young Artists concerts in the summer.
