MANCHESTER - At a recent volunteer gathering, Greater North shire Access Television awarded the 2013 "Gnatty" Award for exceptional service to longtime volunteer, Andrew McKeever.

In conjunction with GNAT's production department, McKeever produces The Front Page, a monthly in-studio series featuring guests who have a connection to the local and/or Vermont political landscape.

In addition to his day job as the Managing Editor of the Manchester Journal, McKeever began volunteering at GNAT in 2008. In that time he has produced nearly 70 programs focusing on issues of local and statewide interest.

"Andrew is always there when the organization needs him, whether to conduct an interview with a statewide leader, moderate a candidate forum or make us laugh with his generous sense of humor," said GNAT-TV Executive Director Tammie Reilly. "We truly appreciate everything he has done for GNAT-TV and its viewers. We hope this recognition will urge him to continue hosting for another five years."

The Front Page airs on Thursdays and Saturdays at 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. (Channel 15 in the Valley; Channel 8 in Stratton) and on Thursdays and Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Channel 8 in the Towns of Londonderry and Weston. All local programs can also be viewed online at www.gnat.tv.
