MANCHESTER - Greater Northshire Access Television - (GNAT-TV) - the area's Public, Education and Government access media and training center, will hold its annual meeting at the GNAT-TV studio, located at 6378 Route 7A in Sunderland, on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014 at 5:30 p.m.

The meeting is open to the public and will be followed with light refreshments.

GNAT-TV's mission is to provide public access to media technologies, equipment, training and local information for the regional community.

One of the primary functions of GNAT-TV is to keep the residents of the eleven towns connected to their community. GNAT-TV televises locally produced programs including municipal meetings, informational programs, talk shows, and other entertainment produced by local residents.

Anyone living or working in GNAT-TV's service area communities is eligible to participate in GNAT-TV's programs including: media production training, producing television programs, utilizing studio facilities and portable audio/video equipment.

Community members may also become more involved in GNAT-TV by participating in planning committees and are eligible for nomination for the Board of Directors.

GNAT-TV broadcasts on Comcast Cable channels 15, 16, and 17 in the towns of Arlington, Dorset, Manchester, Sunderland, Peru, Rupert, Sandgate, and Winhall; on channels 8, 10, and 18 in Stratton; and on channel 8 in the towns of Londonderry and Weston.
