Additionally, six ski retailers from New England will also be on site to sell new equipment at special discount prices.
"The Ski Sale is a great way for locals and visitors to benefit from the vast amount of used race-stock equipment donated by our Stratton Mountain School community, as well as the great quantities of general ski and snowboard gear," said Chris Kaltsas, Headmaster of Stratton Mountain School.
"The ski and snowboard gear is priced to sell, and buyers will find incredible deals," said Mary Ives, SMS Event Coordinator. "SMS will be the place to be on Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving."
Alpine skis are not the sole focus of the sale. Nordic (cross-country) ski equipment and snowboard equipment will be on sale.
Anyone interested in selling their used, but good condition equipment, apparel or gear is welcome to drop equipment off on Friday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. No "straight" skis or used helmets will be accepted. SMS reserves the right to refuse equipment that is too old or in poor condition.
