The free reception will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and all works will be for sale with proceeds benefiting the library.
McHugh began her art education in Seoul, South Korea at a young age.
She earned her BFA at Parsons School of Design in textiles and product design. She is currently a creative designer and illustrator for Adirondack Studios, Inc.
She is responsible for producing exhibit and themed designs from initial concept illustrations through finished work drawings. Some of her recent clients include Universal Studios in Singapore, Hollywood and Orlando; Make A Wish Foundation; Wegmans Food Stores; New Netherlands Institute; Mohegan Sun Casino; and Hotel and Adirondack Museum at Blue Mountain Lake.
She enjoys painting in her spare time. Her botanicals have been commissioned by Art in Motion, Intercontinental Art, McGaw Graphics, New Box Licensing, and Lipman Publishing. Her paintings have been licensed for posters, bags, coasters, placemats, mats, giftware and kitchenware. In addition, she continues to be commissioned for both her hand-painted and digitally-painted murals for private and commercial spaces.
McHugh's show will extend through the month of November.
