MANCHESTER - On Saturday, Oct. 26, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., the Maple Street School Parent Association will welcome children and their families from around the Northshire region to the 4th Annual Scarecrow Festival.
This year's event will have lots of fun activities for kids, including crafts, games, a book and toy sale, a bouncy house, music, and of course, scarecrows. Families can enjoy lunch at the Maple Street School's "Harvest Cafe" which will be serving pizza, hamburgers, hotdogs veggie burgers and a great selection of baked goods.
Adults can accompany their children free of charge with a $5 admission for each child. Most of the activities are included with paid admission.

Raffle tickets and specialty crafts, such as rainbow loom bracelets, a Halloween nail salon and Halloween novelties, will be available for purchase. All proceeds will benefit the Maple Street School Scholarship Fund, which provides financial aid to over 40 percent of the current students.
